🌟 Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP)

Organized by Matoshri Bahuuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha

Introduction:
To build a self-reliant and economically empowered society, Matoshri Bahuuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha has launched the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP). The initiative aims to encourage and support rural and semi-urban youth, especially women and unemployed individuals, to start their own enterprises.

Through this program, the Sanstha provides knowledge, skills, and resources required to transform innovative ideas into sustainable livelihoods — fulfilling our motto “Empowering Lives, Building Futures.”

🎯 Objectives:

• To promote entrepreneurship and self-employment among youth and women.

• To provide practical training on business planning, financial literacy, and marketing.

• To create awareness about government schemes and start-up support programs.

• To strengthen rural economic development through local enterprises.

• To build confidence and leadership among participants.

🧭 Program Highlights:

1. Entrepreneurship Awareness Workshops:

   • Conducted sessions in Dhule, Nashik, and nearby rural regions.

   • Focus on identifying business opportunities in agriculture, handicrafts, retail, and services.

2. Skill & Business Training:

   • Training on production, sales, bookkeeping, and customer management.

   • Emphasis on digital tools, e-commerce, and branding.

3. Financial Literacy & Support:

   • Guidance on availing loans under government schemes (PMEGP, MUDRA, etc.).

   • Sessions by local bank representatives and financial experts.

4. Women Entrepreneurship Promotion:

   • Self-help group (SHG) formation and vocational training for women.

   • Encouraging micro-enterprises like tailoring, food processing, and handicraft units.

5. Mentorship & Networking:

   • Linking participants with successful entrepreneurs and mentors.

   • Follow-up sessions for business growth and sustainability.

🌿 Impact:

• Over 250 youth and women trained through EDP workshops in 2024.

• 40+ participants started their own small ventures in retail, food, and service sectors.

• Improved financial literacy and confidence among rural participants.

• Strengthened collaboration with local industries, banks, and CSR partners.
